Problem: My b15 has a faulty touchscreen. The screen works everywhere except the very top of the screen from far left to far right, so i cant use any app that uses the top of the screen, such as email (as the send button is at the top). the amount of screen that does not work is about 10-15mm or a small finger width. so i can not pull down the top of the screen to access settings such as gps and wifi on/off etc.
Problem: Hello, I recently installed a systems update by using googleota.apk recommended by my carrier. After the instillation, my mobile network connection bars grey themselves out and I'm not getting the cell signal that I used to get before the update. What was that "update"?
Even if your phone was advertised as being *free* on a contract, you are paying for it through your monthly payments and you have the same rights that you would had you bought any other electronic item - i.e. at least a year under the Sale of Goods Act.
You do not have to take what you are offered. Don't feel pressured into taking a phone you know nothing about. Check reviews online before you buy a new phone.
Make sure you understand how much you use your phone before you sign up to a new contract. If you only use 250 minutes a month, a 1,000 minute a month contract isn't going to be any good for you. Work out how much you need and look at plans around that amount.
