My phone works fine, Except that if I select "camera" the whole phone freezes and the only way to unfreeze it is to remove/replace the battery, help, please!
My Doro 612 has the problem that when I went use it the screen was blank and white in colour I removed the battery to reboot but nothing I have done works, has the screen gone and cannot be used any more can you help. Thank You
When adding a new contact I am only getting the option of a mobile number to add. There is no home or office listed. Any ideas why this is happening?
I got the doro 612 easy phone for my grandad due to him being hard of hearing but the phone keeps reducing its ring volume on its own how do I stop this as I'm having to keep turning it up to full then after a few calls it's on lowest volume again

(Click on a problem to comment or help)Without any warning I can no longer text or edit in English. When I try to text, and open the 'Write Message' screen, immediately above the left hand corner of the text entry screen is a small vertical yellow bar and EL next to it. When I start typing I can only get some kind of Greek type letters. I have gone into settings and set up wizard and made sure @English' is set but still no difference. I get the same gibberish if I try to edit phone book settings.
Full battery discharges instantly without warning .so weeks old
why is there a light flashing on the front of my phone just below the camera lens ????
We have two doro 612 phones both have about the same usage the battery on one 7 days + the other two days the battery display shows fully and then suddenly drops to zero in a few minutes

Screen has gone blank on my Doro 612. Pressing buttons seems to have no effect. It will turn on and screen lights up but remains blank
I bought my Doro 612 about a month ago and entered in 35 contacts in the phonebook, most contacts have home, mobile and work numbers, non have pictures attached. I tried to enter a new contact today and there are only 2 options in the add contact area, that is the name and a mobile no. I used the arrow key to scroll down, hoping that the additional icons would appear, but it made no difference. Can anyone help. I have tried turning it off and on, but nothing changed.
My husband has a Doro 612 Mobile and all his contact numbers have disappeared. Can these be retrieved please.

Solution 1: I had this problem with the phone it was due to memory issues, the camera worked again after I deleted about 5 photos.

Solution 1: I had the same problem with my Doro 612 which was only 13 months old. I took the phone to a mobile repair shop and was told that it needed a new LCD screen. The cost for the part and labour was going to be expensive so was advised just to buy a new phone. I was annoyed at the technical support at Doro as they did not reply to my email when I told them of the problem.

Solution 1: Go into settings and change phone book storage to phone from sim or visa versa

- Make sure you store entries on the phone and not the SIM Card which will only allow a single entry classed as mobile.

Solution 1: The volume control for the 612 is on the side. It is quite possible that he is accidentally turning down the volume when he picks up and holds the phone.
The volume can be adjusted during a call without going into the menu. I suggest you practice this with him when you are there.
I say this from experience because my friend (partially sighted) was doing it. She thought the phone was broken because she could not hear anybody.
