My phone works fine, Except that if I select "camera" the whole phone freezes and the only way to unfreeze it is to remove/replace the battery, help, please!
My Doro 612 has the problem that when I went use it the screen was blank and white in colour I removed the battery to reboot but nothing I have done works, has the screen gone and cannot be used any more can you help. Thank You
When adding a new contact I am only getting the option of a mobile number to add. There is no home or office listed. Any ideas why this is happening?
I got the doro 612 easy phone for my grandad due to him being hard of hearing but the phone keeps reducing its ring volume on its own how do I stop this as I'm having to keep turning it up to full then after a few calls it's on lowest volume again

On switching I found I was unable to dial 453 for a check on my remaining credit and at the same time S O S CALL ONLY was displayed on the screen. The battery is charged but the phone is inoperative . What's the reason for this and can I fix it myself ?

Have just bought two doro 612 phones for the wife and I, they seem to work ok for everything else but will not talk to each other, they connect to other mobiles and landlines!
There is no entry for camera in menu
My doro phone says " camera module not ready " when I select camera to take a photo.
Can I do anything about this or does it have to go to a repairer ?
My mums phone is showing a red envelope with cross through it and she is unable to send texts, though can receive. I am not to hand to sort this, what is the problem?

Solution 1: I had this problem with the phone it was due to memory issues, the camera worked again after I deleted about 5 photos.

Solution 1: I had the same problem with my Doro 612 which was only 13 months old. I took the phone to a mobile repair shop and was told that it needed a new LCD screen. The cost for the part and labour was going to be expensive so was advised just to buy a new phone. I was annoyed at the technical support at Doro as they did not reply to my email when I told them of the problem.

Solution 1: Go into settings and change phone book storage to phone from sim or visa versa

- Make sure you store entries on the phone and not the SIM Card which will only allow a single entry classed as mobile.

Solution 1: The volume control for the 612 is on the side. It is quite possible that he is accidentally turning down the volume when he picks up and holds the phone.
The volume can be adjusted during a call without going into the menu. I suggest you practice this with him when you are there.
I say this from experience because my friend (partially sighted) was doing it. She thought the phone was broken because she could not hear anybody.
