There may be a few reasons for this. In a phone that had a removable memory card, I would say to take that out and try again without it (or reformat the card) but in this case I think it is possibly due to either (a) an application that is running in the background that is causing the reboot, or (b) a faulty component. For (a), try to shut down any applications that are currently running, particularly any that are new to your phone. For (b), try turning off all the additional functions on your phone and see if that stops the problem. If so, turn them on one by one until you find out what is the root of the problem. If not, feel how warm your phone is when it restarts - is it overheating? 0 out of 0 people found this solution helpful.

Problem: The internet and phone calls randomly decides works on and off whenever it likes. I try to check google on the browser or search an inbox to my email and the phone wont have internet. But could give internet for 5 random minutes within a few hours. Also the once in a while the calls i make are just blank and don't ring through, which those calls don't go through. Yet the mobile data bar shows there's reception, it only works sometimes..
Problem: cant update to latest firmware. after downloading the update the phone goes into recovery, tries to flash the update, but says it fails. tried connecting to the pc and updating that way. no good. tried OTA update. No good. I really need help
Even if your phone was advertised as being *free* on a contract, you are paying for it through your monthly payments and you have the same rights that you would had you bought any other electronic item - i.e. at least a year under the Sale of Goods Act.
You do not have to take what you are offered. Don't feel pressured into taking a phone you know nothing about. Check reviews online before you buy a new phone.
Make sure you understand how much you use your phone before you sign up to a new contract. If you only use 250 minutes a month, a 1,000 minute a month contract isn't going to be any good for you. Work out how much you need and look at plans around that amount.
